**What are we looking for?**
The Sales Executive will support the Director of Sales (DOS) and the Commercial Director in achieving the hotel's commercial objectives.
This role is primarily responsible for generating revenue by selling rooms, event spaces, and hotel services to individuals, wholesale clients and travel agencies.
The Sales Executive’s key objective is to meet individual sales targets, increase occupancy and bookings, and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the hotel through strategic sales initiatives and proactive client engagement.
The role also plays a vital part in driving Total Hotel Revenue across all departments.
**What will I be doing?**
·Support the DOS and Commercial Director in implementing sales strategies
·Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the hotel’s overall financial performance.
·Conduct business analysis, market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies that keep the resort as a leader in these business segments
·Develop and support accounts and initial product trainings, sales calls to reinforce relationship to drive business and increase market share
·Continuously source new business
·Ensure Wholesale contracts for the resort are in accordance to the established pricing conditions
·Produce and implement an account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenue and production to meet set targets.
·To prepare and execute an annual strategic plan in close cooperation with DOS and Commercial Director, including all sales metrics such as ADR, RN and REV and any other which will be part of the hotel’s business plan
·Respond and follow up on all leads, sales opportunities and customer requests promptly and in a professional manner
·Manage assigned GOB markets and pro-actively seek new opportunities within these markets and segments
·Develop customer accounts and travel within the assigned geographic markets to drive business and to increase market and customer share
·Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect in line with set targets
+ Attend tradeshows and sales trips as planned and submit each year an updated calendar
**SITE INSPECTION**
+ Responsible to implement a unique hotel site inspection to differentiate ourselves and position WAMI as leading hotel in Maldives.
+ Follow up on ROI after the Fam Trip
**OTHER DUTIES**
·Execute commercial strategies within the area of responsibility
+ Be fully up to date with budgeted/actual/forecast targets of the accounts within your responsibility
·Monitors and grow business with inputs into sales strategies
·Identify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and accounts to Director of Sales and Commercial Director
·Maintain accurate database and history of all accounts on hotel sales system Delphi
·Attend regular departmental meetings
·Ensure all administrative requests are handled by the Sales Executive as directed by Director of Sales, Assistant Commercial Director and Commercial Director
·Oversee the execution of all planned familiarization stays, events and groups
·Participate in resort promotional activities
·Attend training and meetings when required
·To cover Sales Coordinator tasks in case of absence from the office
+ The Resort requires that you perform any task deemed necessary by the Commercial Director for the efficient running of the Commercial Department specifically and the Resort in general.
**What do I need?**
·Minimum of two years’ experience in sales or similar position.
·Luxury Hotel / Resort experience.
·Proficient level of written and verbal English and Mandarin.
·Sound computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, Opera and Fusion.
·Positive attitude and good communications skills.
·Excellent selling capabilities.
